About Us

On April 6, 1998, The Community Bank began its quest to provide the people of Southwest Kansas and the Panhandle of Oklahoma with superior customer service. The bank's founders believed that a bank with local ownership and decision-making would provide greater flexibility and service to our community. In 1998 the bank started out in a 3,000 square foot modular building. In 2003 the bank began construction on a new facility that was located directly behind the original building. In May of 2004 construction was complete on our new home. In July of 2004 the bank opened the South Motor Branch. This branch provides additional teller access for our customer's convenience.

The Community Bank offers many products and services to help serve the needs of our customers. Whether your needs are for a personal savings account or to start your new business, we want to help.

The bank maintains a number of checking and savings accounts to suit your needs, including a suite of innovative Kasasa® accounts. If you are thinking about putting some money away for the future you may also want to consider a Certificate of Deposit (CD) or an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Our Customer Service Representatives are prepared to help you find the right fit for your individual needs and goals.

The Community Bank's loan staff is also available to help meet your credit needs. The bank offers consumer loans, auto loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), construction loans, agricultural loans, and commercial loans. Our loan officers are ready to serve your needs.

Our bank also offers a wide range of traditional services such as cashiers checks, wire transfers, and safety deposit boxes.

The Community Bank prides itself on our personalized customer service and plans on continuing to improve and grow through your referrals of friends and neighbors to our bank.
